What We're Building
Our Projects
Two active initiatives transforming Rolleville — one park, one library, and a whole community coming together.
Initiative 01
In ProgressMaud Anderson Park

A Park Built for the Community
Maud Anderson Park has been a part of Rolleville since 1980, but over the decades it fell into disrepair — leaving the community without a safe, usable space for children to play and families to gather. Friends of Rolleville took on the revitalization of this beloved park, restoring it to the vibrant community hub it was always meant to be.
The first phase is complete: a brand-new playset has been installed and is already bringing joy to the children of Rolleville. Phase two — the construction of basketball, pickleball, and sand volleyball courts — is currently underway. Phase three will add a running track and softball field to complete the park's full vision.

Initiative 02
In ProgressRolleville Library & Education Center
A Home for Learning & Opportunity
The Rolleville Library & Education Center is the modernization of an older library. Friends of Rolleville took on the rehabilitation of an existing structure to transform it into a modern, multi-purpose resource center that will serve not only the people of Rolleville, but communities across the island of Exuma for generations to come.
Once complete, the center will offer a wide range of services and spaces for residents of all ages — including a reading and research room for adults and children, a computer center with internet access, a lecture and training area, bathrooms, a demonstration kitchen, a demonstration garden, Sunday school for children, and will serve as a designated hurricane shelter for the community.
